Released: Sep 2026

BYD’s upgraded Atto 3 EVO arrives in September from $41,990 plus on-road costs. The $46,990 Premium moves to 230kW rear-wheel drive, with 510km range and 220kW charging via a new 800V architecture. Both grades gain refreshed styling, a redesigned cabin, upgraded tech.

Model: Cayenne - Electric

Released: Sep 2026

Porsche launches its fourth-generation Cayenne in Electric form during the third quarter, with three AWD grades priced from $167,800 plus on-road costs. Outputs range from 325kW/835Nm to 850kW/1500Nm with up to 669km WLTP range and 390kW DC charging.

Model: Z - Nismo

Released: Sep 2026

Nissan adds a six-speed manual option to the Z Nismo priced at $95,000 plus on-road costs – identical to the automatic. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 produces 309kW/520Nm, with the MY26 update also bringing GT-R derived front brake hardware and chassis upgrades.

Model: CX-6e

Released: Sep 2026

Mazda’s new CX-6e electric medium SUV arrives priced from $53,990 plus on-road costs for the GT and $56,990 for the Azami. A 190kW/290Nm rear motor and 78kWh LFP battery provide up to 484km of WLTP range, with 30-80 per cent DC charging possible in a claimed 15 minutes.

Kia adds a dual-motor GT-Line AWD flagship to its EV3 range from September, priced at $66,490 plus on-road costs. Outputs rise to 195kW/385Nm for a claimed 6.6-second 0-100km/h time, while the 81.4kWh battery provides up to 559km of WLTP range.

Released: Sep 2026

Hyundai adds the more off-road-focused Palisade XRT PRO, priced at $79,900 plus on-road costs. The eight-seater uses a 207kW/422Nm turbocharged 2.5-litre petrol engine with AWD, 212mm ground clearance, all-terrain tyres, rear e-LSD, and 2200kg towing capacity.

Released: Sep 2026

The Tank 500 gains GWM’s new 170kW/620Nm turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel, priced from $65,990 driveaway for the Lux and $71,990 for the Vanta. The seven-seater gains a nine-speed automatic, 3500kg towing capacity, upgraded infotainment and additional touring equipment.
