BYD’s first Australian people mover lands from $61,990 plus on-road costs, undercutting the Kia Carnival. Both grades use BYD’s DM-i 5.0 Super Hybrid (PHEV) system, with up to 145km EV-only range and 850km combined.

Cadillac’s quickest-ever model lists from $99,000 before on-road costs. The dual-motor EV produces 459kW/880Nm, hitting 100km/h in 3.6 seconds, with a 92kWh battery good for 471km WLTP range.

GWM’s second plug-in hybrid ute arrives mid-October from $47,990 driveaway under launch pricing. Combined output is 310kW/750Nm, with 115km EV-only range, 3500kg towing and proper low-range 4WD hardware retained.

Hyundai’s commercial van range goes fully electric from $70,990 plus on-road costs. The 800-volt EV offers 450km WLTP range, a 1005kg payload and 2000kg towing, with 350kW DC charging.

The revised EQS 400 is available from $184,900 plus on-road costs, $35,000 below the outgoing EQS 450. New 800-volt architecture delivers a claimed 810km WLTP range and debuts optional steer-by-wire technology.

The second-generation GLB is available from $65,400 plus on-road costs, down $2900. The GLB 250+ effectively replaces the EQB from $74,990, more than $15,000 cheaper, with seven seats standard across all four variants.

Ram brings HEMI V8 power back to its Heavy Duty range priced from $157,950 plus on-road costs. The 6.4-litre V8 makes 306kW/582Nm, with Bilstein off-road dampers and up to 6700kg towing with a gooseneck accessory.
