China’s Geely Automobile will open for business in Australia by launching a 1.5-litre Corolla-sized Geely MK sedan and five-door hatch small car in Western Australia only, early in 2011. Powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission, it will be priced competitively with Korean small cars.
