News - MitsubishiMitsubishi ups Diamond Advantage programTen-year conditional roadside assist coverage now offered to Mitsubishi buyers3 Dec 2025 AS COMPETITION heats up in an increasingly crowded new car market Down Under, automakers are incentivising sales through various marketing “tools” including cashback, driveaway pricing, low- or zero interest finance, free charge cards, free wall boxes, guaranteed future values, and many more.
The latest novel riposte is from Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) which has augmented its already generous 10 years warranty and 10 years capped-price servicing program by throwing in (conditional) 10 years of roadside assist – six more than before.
It creates what MMAL describes as its 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage program, one of the most generous in the marketplace.
MMAL says the tempter expands its pioneering market-shaping ownership experience in an Australian-market first.
“This addition forms the new Mitsubishi Diamond Advantage 10/10/10 program, applicable to all new vehicles sold from today onwards (24MY, 25MY and future models),” it said in a statement.
The additional roadside assistance backing reinforces MMAL’s mission in “driving Australians to be more adventurous, with the coverage and confidence to tackle the journey ahead in their Mitsubishi vehicle”.
The Mitsubishi Diamond Advantage 10/10/10 program replaces the company’s 10/10 program which “set a new benchmark in the Australian market upon launch in October 2020 and offered four years of roadside assistance”.
The additional coverage resulted from an independent consumer research report that revealed customers saw the outgoing MMAL 10/10 program as a unique selling point for Mitsubishi, adding significant value to the product and ownership experience.
Under the new 10/10/10 program, the first 12 months of roadside assistance is complimentary with new vehicles and is extended for a further 12 months upon completion of each eligible capped-price service at a Mitsubishi Motors dealership, for a maximum of 10 years.
Mitsubishi Diamond Advantage roadside assistance will continue to be operated in conjunction with Assist Australia to offer 24/7 service Australia-wide.
Tom Pitman, aftersales deputy director at MMAL said the rollout of the enhanced warranty program is the next step in continuing Mitsubishi’s long-standing commitment to customer care.
“The evolution of our Diamond Advantage program from ‘10/10’ to ‘10/10/10’ reflects Mitsubishi’s unwavering dedication to delivering a best-in-class vehicle ownership experience,” he said.
“Our customers have long identified Diamond Advantage as a unique selling point for Mitsubishi, which enhanced the ownership experience. The new 10/10/10 program takes this to new heights.
“MMAL has built a legacy upon its reliability and continued aftermarket support spanning 45 years and supported by one of the biggest dealership networks in Australia – that’s something we plan on continuing for many years to come.
