New models - Renault - ScenicRenault Scenic E-tech priced for AustraliaRenault Scenic E-Tech BEV available to order in three grades from $55,990+ ORC14 Nov 2025 RENAULT Australia has announced pricing and specification for the new fully electric Scenic E-Tech medium segment SUV arriving late this year or early next year but orderable right now.
Three grades will be available starting with the Techno EV60 priced from $55,990 then stepping up to the Techno Long Range EV87 from $59,990 and finishing with the Esprit Alpine EV87 from $65,990 all excluding on-road costs.
Metallic paint adds $800, two-tone $1000, and matte on the Alpine grade only is an extra $1200.
As per Euro-spec’ the model will be offered Down Under with a choice of two battery capacities and two electric motor outputs.
First off the boat will be the range topping Esprit Alpine ahead of the other variants soon after.
Renault Australia says the Scenic E-Tech introduces new levels of connectivity for the brand in Australia as models are equipped with over-the-air (OTA) updates, access to the MyRenault App and an embedded Google system that enables voice controls for up to 70 functions in the car – beyond the infotainment system.
A novel feature and adding to its so-called French flair are sound modes on the premium audio system in the new Scenic designed by Jean Michel Jarre – the French composer, performer and producer known for his iconic trance music.
He also composed the warning sound emitted at low speeds to warn pedestrians and others.
The model has been revived after a 15-year hiatus in Australia but is a different animal to that particular seven seat minibus-type vehicle.
The new-gen model is a five-seater the Renault says “showcases the company’s future technology”.
“Earlier this year we announced Renault Australia would introduce six new or updated models over the next 18 months,” said Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey.
“The Renault Scenic E-Tech is just the start of our revitalisation program, and we are delighted to be able to introduce this award-winning car in Australia.
“In a sea of ‘same-same’ SUVs, the Renault Scenic E-Tech stands out for its French flair, cutting edge design, and easy-to-use technology.
“Today we are opening the order books and announcing price and specs for each model so customers can do their research and order before deliveries commence later this year or early next year.
“We will initially launch with the Renault Scenic Esprit Alpine before other model variants follow soon after.”
Diving deeper into each model the entry grade Techno EV60 is powered by a single electric motor outputting 125kW/280Nm driving the front wheels via a 60kWh battery with peak charging capacity of 130kW giving a claimed driving range (WLTP) of 430km and a 0-100km/h sprint (claimed) in 8.6 seconds.
The mid-spec Techno Long Range EV87 is also powered by a single electric motor outputting 160kW/300Nm driving the front wheels via an 87kWh battery with a peak charging capacity of 150kW for a claimed driving range (WLTP) of 625km and a 0-100km/h sprint in a claimed 7.9 seconds.
Finally, the range topping Esprit Alpine EV87 is powered by a single electric motor outputting 160kW/300Nm driving the front wheels via an 87kWh battery with a peak charging capacity of 150kW for a claimed driving range (WLTP) of 625km and a 0-100km/h sprint (claimed) at 7.9 seconds.
The new Renault measures 4470mm long by 1864mm wide by 1565mm high on a 2785mm wheelbase. It has a 10.9m turning circle and a boot volume of between 545 and 1670 litres depending or rear seat position.
The model walk reveals the well-equipped Techno EV60 and EV87 with Arkamys Classic Sound System with six speakers, wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charger, 12.3-inch widescreen digital instrument display, 12.0-inch (vertical) infotainment screen, Virtual Assistant with Google in-built, over-the-air updates, remote services via MyRenault App and embedded Google Maps.
Other more usual features on the pair include: auto folding side mirrors, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, power tailgate, 40:20:40-split rear seats, Ingenius back seat armrest with two USB-C charge ports, two cup holders, two phone holders, internal storage, two USB-C charge ports (front), four USB-C charge ports (rear), one 12V power socket (front), one 12V power socket (boot).
The pair finishing with heated steering wheel and front seats, light grey cloth upholstery, four driving modes (including ‘one-pedal’ driving), 48 ambient lighting modes (interior),19-inch alloy wheels, scrolling indicators, lane-centring, blind-spot warning and intervention, front, side and rear parking sensors, hand-free parking assistance, 360-degree camera view, door exit warning (front and rear), adaptive cruise control with stop and go, rear cross-traffic alert, and speed sign recognition.
Additionally, the range topping Esprit Alpine EV87 adds or replaces with face ID (driver recognition for seat and mirror settings), infrared windscreen, metal pedal covers, six-way power adjustment for driver and front passenger seats, memory settings for driver and front passenger seats, aluminium accents for front door trims, massage function for driver’s seat, synthetic ‘leather’ and cloth seat trim with Alpine stitching, harman/kardon premium audio with nine speakers, 20-inch alloy wheels, Alpine grille, external door trims, badging, and an optional matte grey body colour.
